Post an eCBSV SSN verification job. eCBSV SSN jobs are reserved for qualifying financial institutions only.

The returned jobSid is the identifier for result retrieval — pass it to GET /api/ecbsv-ssn/jobs/{id}.

The ein in the request must exactly match the EIN allow-listed on the account. If the account has no allow-listed EIN, or the submitted ein differs from it, the request currently fails with a generic 500 UnknownSystemError rather than a 4xx describing the EIN problem.

200Success

400InvalidRequestError - The request is invalid. An aborted or oversized request is answered with this status and an empty body instead of the envelope below.

401The request could not be authenticated. Credential rejection returns an AuthenticationError envelope; a malformed or expired bearer token is rejected earlier by the JWT middleware and returns { "error": "Token expired" } or { "error": "Token malformed" } instead.

403SSNAccountConfigErrorType - SSN verification is not enabled for this account. The SSN endpoints return this type in place of the AccountConfigErrorType used everywhere else.

422SSNUnprocessableEntityErrorType - The request contains incorrectly formatted or missing data.

500UnknownSystemError - A unknown system error occurred.
